Little Dragons 3 & 4 years old
In Lanza’s Martial Arts, Freehold NJ with the Little Dragon Program, each child will experience classroom activities that target the life skills that they are currently developing. Such as large and gross motor skills, behavior development, and character development. These skills have been broken down into age-specific exercises, games, activities, and drills that complement their stage of development.
Children between the ages of 3 & 4 years old are in a very distinct growing stage. They are embarking on new discoveries every day and learning how to cope with all of the challenges in everyday life. Their intellect, emotions, physical capabilities, and social competence all are growing at a rapid rate
That’s where our Little Dragon Program comes into play. We use the Martial Arts to reinforce good discipline, displaying confidence, and maintaining a positive attitude. With this in mind, we want to reinforce that Martial Arts is proven to help develop focus, memory, balance and coordination, standing at attention when commanded, responding with respect by saying “yes sir” and “yes ma’am”, bowing to each other, and developing a “Can Do” attitude will prepare them for the beginning of their school careers.
According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, “one in three children is overweight.” The Lil’ Dragon program addresses this issue head-on, (and stomach) by providing parents and children a whole life approach to making choices that effect both their mental and physical health. The best part is no one sits on the bench. Everyone is included. Lil’ Dragons’ catches all kids early and helps them develop terrific life skills that will make them not only a better people but a healthier one as well.
